Back to the Body™

An immersive, transformational journey that guides women to awaken desire, rediscover themselves, and experience more pleasure than they’ve ever thought possible.

We guide women from hopeless, to hopeful, to knowing the pleasure their bodies are truly capable of.

We don't prescribe a one-size-fits-all healing process that only works for certain women. We are here for any and every woman – for those who want change, and for those who think they can't change.

Pamela and her staff of certified Back to the Body Method™ practitioners use their expertise to guide you through a transformative, whole-body, erotic awakening that's individually tailored to fit your specific desires.

All you have to do is bring your body.

Meet Pamela Madsen

Pamela Madsen is a pioneering sexual wellness educator and the founder of Back to the Body™. For more than a decade and a half, she has helped women rediscover pleasure, desire, and the wisdom of their own bodies.

Her work is rooted in both professional expertise and personal struggles. With a master's degree in education and certifications in sexological bodywork, Pamela created the Back to the Body Method™ — an immersive approach that helps women reconnect with their bodies through somatic tools, guided practices, and supportive community.

Before founding Back to the Body™, Pamela was widely recognized as a leading voice in fertility and reproductive health. As the Founder and first Executive Director of The American Fertility Association, she appeared on Oprah, 60 Minutes, CNN, and other national platforms.

Her own fertility challenges fueled her advocacy, helping pass legislation that expanded access to IVF for countless families.

Yet in the midst of that work, Pamela began asking a deeper question: What happens after fertility? After motherhood? After the roles women have been taught to prioritize?

Through that exploration, Pamela discovered a truth few women had ever been taught: while the biological clock may be finite, the erotic clock is infinite.

Her personal journey into embodiment, sensuality, and sexual healing ultimately reshaped her life — and led to the creation of Back to the Body™.

Today, women who attend Back to the Body™ retreats experience in just seven days the kinds of profound shifts that once took Pamela years of searching, study, and discovery. Through this work, she has witnessed countless women rediscover pleasure, revive intimacy, and reconnect with parts of themselves they once believed were lost.
